We are heading out the door on our way to a church BBQ party... but we really wanted to post some pictures from this morning... little Zek is not camera shy --- hard to believe he is already 2 months!
Well, he woke Shortie up and they both came in our room... which then woke Zek up. Jon ended up on one couch with Zek, and I ended up on the other. In the morning we found two little kiddos sound asleep laid across our bed...

Here are some of the pictures that Shortie took today... she loves her toes! She also took a bunch of pictures of Bubba, but they were blurry
Can you see Bubba and Shorties' friend... the little squirrel. They run all over all the time... and the kids love it - Jon and I, not so much lovin' the squirrels...
This is little Zek during the day, with a half smile, I was a little slow at taking the picture - but he is still super adorable! (and those are my toes behind his head... they make for a great headrest)
We got this outfit when Shortie was first born... I believe from Jons Dad and step Mom, it also has a blanket that matches. Its super funny to see him wearing it, and it makes Shortie laugh, which is great.
Zek is laughing!!! Look at those lips! Love it! He is so funny!!!!!

Oh, and Vanessa's food was super good!!! she sent left overs home and we've been eating them for every meal... yummy!!! I had a blast, and it was great to get to know all the girls on a deeper level. Its been such a blessing to have found Evergreen Church!
The trees outside are starting to change to fall colors! We love it! Its so exciting to actually experience fall! Everyday when we go outside there are leaves everywhere -- that's one time its great to live in an apartment - you aren't the one cleaning up all the leaves... We look forward to our road trip to Maine - we are going to drive through Boston... that's going to be so beautiful!
So Bubba has a pair of rain boots that he loves. We let him wear them every once in awhile but always with socks - because he has the stinkiest feet for a little boy otherwise. The other day he picked out his clothes... he got his little chair climbed in the closet and got out some PJ pants and then a t-shirt. He then ran out to the front closet and found his boots (putting them on all by himself) Once he has them on he rarely lets you take them off. He even took a nap in them. He ended up with a little blister, but he didnt mind. Then the next day he put them on again. We went out shopping all day and I figured his blister had to bother him - it didn't, but still, I made him take his boots of so I could see it ---- the poor kid --- he had three blisters and a blood ring on his foot --- he looked at it and said "ouchie ma" and smiled and wanted the boots back on --- he is a serious boy - tough!

And for one last picture of the day ... Little Zek got a bath... Jon and I loved his little outfit after the bath. He is just so adorable!
